Options Wellness Coaching Programme. 

The ‘Four Pillars’ programme is a Wellness Coaching offer that is based on the Four Pillars of Health and Wellbeing – Eat, Sleep, Move and Relax.

Poor nutrition, sedentary lifestyles, poor quality sleep and unmanaged stress are major contributory factors that impact on our ongoing health and wellbeing.

For optimal health, each one of the pillars must be kept in balance.

The ‘Four Pillars’ programme will include and cover:

This is where we will find out basic information about your needs, requirements and  overarching goals.

Our wellness coaches will work with you to understand ans assess your readiness for change. 

This is a critical aspect of any health and wellness plan and we will help you to understand where you are in the cycle of change and create a good habit loop to maintain helpful lifestyle changes. 

We will explore the Four Pillars with you and how they can be improved and set goals. 

We will provide you with a summary of how all Four Pillars are connected and create your very own blueprint to maintain your new lifestyle choices. 

Eat:

All our needs are unique, but to achieve optimum health we need to give ourselves the best possible intake of nutrients so our body and brain can function as effectively and be as healthy as possible.  Our wellness coaches will guide you in this to optimise your intake for the best possible functionality.

Move:

Movement has various benefits for physical and mental health.  Our wellness coaches will work with you to understand that movement can produce chemicals (endorphins) that improve mood, reduce stress, and boost self-esteem and how movement can be implemented into your daily routines consistently.

Relax:

The definition of stress is very subjective a personal to each individual.  What may be stressful for one person may in fact be a motivator for another.  Wellness coaches will help you understand your triggers and stressors as well as your usual stress responses and coach you to plan for avoiding, managing or coping with them to prevent the longer term effects of stress.

Sleep:

Sleep is as essential as food and water!

Our Wellness coaches will help you understand your sleep-wake cycles and the factors that influence them.  They will also help you to make changes to support better quality and quantity of sleep and help you to understand the negative impact of not getting enough of either.

All of the above will support you to take simple, small steps with nutrition and lifestyle changes to support your physical and mental health for a more balanced life.  You will agree activities to work on with your Wellness Coach between sessions to start planning and implementing your new, healthy lifestyles.

The fundamental principles of the ‘Four Pillars’ Wellness Coaching Programme are interconnected and when kept in balance you experience a better quality of life.
