What we Help Organisations With:
Managing Burnout & Stress
Effective stress management helps you break the hold stress has on your life, so you can be happier, healthier, and more productive. The ultimate goal is a balanced life, with time for work, relationships, relaxation, and fun—and the resilience to hold up under pressure and meet challenges head on. But stress management is not one-size-fits-all. That’s why it’s important to experiment and find out what works best for you.
We can provide bespoke group workshops to suit your team’s needs, as well as 1-2-1 support.
We work with all employees to help them to achieve their goals, be more assertive (self-advocacy), manage feelings of rejection or make a plan to get to the next level.
This not only helps to develop staff skills and careers, but also helps the organisation to succeed, whilst improving staff retention.
Trauma Management and Support
Have any of your employees or teams recently been exposed to a traumatic event in the workplace?
This event may have had distressing physical and psychological effects on both the employees and on the team, that could negaively impact their ongoing mental health, their functioning and their work.
We use an effective practice called ‘Critical Incident Stress Debriefing‘ (CISD) that will allow your affected employees and teams to process and reflect. We will work with them to gain personal control over the event.
In order to ensure the CISD process is as effective as possible, we work with the affected employees and teams within the first 72 hours of the event.
Work / Life Balance
Through our Four Pillars of Wellness Model, we help your employees to achieve a more sustainable work-life balance and avoid burnout.
Work-life balance is an important aspect of a healthy work environment. Maintaining work-life balance helps reduce stress and helps prevent burnout in the workplace.
Chronic stress is one of the most common health issues in the workplace. It can lead to physical consequences such as hypertension, digestive troubles, chronic aches and pains and heart problems. Chronic stress can also negatively impact mental health because it’s linked to a higher risk of depression, anxiety and insomnia.
NUTRITION, MOVEMENT, RELAXATION and SLEEP are all fundamental aspects to good wellbeing. Making positive change in these areas will support a holistic lifestyle transition to become happier and healthier with yourself.
We use the four pillars of wellness to work with people and help them to achieve their lifestyle goals.
Making changes to these fundamental aspects of your life can create lasting effects on your personal wellbeing.
Are your staff teams not working as effectively as you would like? Are there underlying issues within the teams that need addressing and feel you cannot do this with your current resources?
If so, we offer a comprehensive Team Recovery Programme designed to support you and your team.
Team Wellness Recovery Action Planning (WRAP) is a technique for when teams are dysfunctional. We use this evidence-based programme to explore the issues and move forwards as a team. It enhances communication, improves relationships through understanding, and helps people to recognise & value what everyone is contributing.
Culture Change (and other change management support)
We can work with you and your team to understand the values and beliefs that underpin the culture of your organisation, and discover where they are not aligned.
We will then coproduce a culture change strategy with you, in order to promote sustainable innovation and transformation within your organisation.
Culture change cannot happen from the top down – it has to come from a shared sense of positive belonging and undertaken over an achievable timeframe.
Change is often feared, but within this process we can help to address any negativity and find positive ways of getting people actively involved and taking ownership, where appropriate. Culture change will only be successful when staff trust the process and feel truly involved in it.
Techniques our Qualified Professionals use:
Counselling and Therapy
Counselling and Therapy offer employees a safe, confidential place to talk about their life and work experiences and anything that may be confusing, painful or uncomfortable. It allows them to talk with someone who is trained to listen attentively and to help improve their situation. A counsellor will not tell employees what to do or judge them, but always try to understand things from their point of view, and support them to find their own answers.
Coaching helps leaders and employees to make progress in their lives in order to attain greater fulfillment in their work and personal life.
Coaching can help to clarify goals, identify the obstacles holding someone back, and provide the support needed to achieve long-lasting change.
Ultimately, coaching is about learning tools and techniques to help leaders and employees reach their full potential.
Are your employees feeling stuck or unable to make decisions in a workplace setting?
Motivational interviewing is an approach designed to help employees find the motivation to make a positive behaviour change, move forward or overcome challenges.
Goal setting as a strategy can help staff feel a greater connection with their workplace and encourage them to share the same strategic vision to move forward as one.
Goals can be big or small. Regardless of this, setting goals and working out plans for how to achieve them can improve an employee’s mind-set and make a positive difference.
It can also give staff extra motivation and encouragement when they need it.
NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) Strategies
Our NLP strategies focus on understanding how people communicate personally and professionally, and then recognising how they communicate with others. This helps them to gain self-awareness around how they behave and respond in situations.
This enables people to make changes to how they respond and adjust their behaviours, in order to gain the best possible outcome.
TA (Transactional Analysis)
TA is a contemporary psychological approach that helps to encourage people to reach their full potential in all aspects of their work life.
This form of talking therapy has been successful in a wide range of settings, including workplaces. It is a discipline focused on enabling effective communication at all levels in an organisation and improving interpersonal skills.
